About House of Paws Dog Rescue

Welcome to the House of Paws Dog Rescue website.  We are a rescue group servicing Rowan, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg and surrounding areas of North Carolina.  We are a foster based organization who help people place their own dogs or strays into loving permanent homes.

We started out a few years ago wanting to adopt a dog from another local rescue, but the dog we met didn’t like our dog and so we decided to foster instead, and FELL IN LOVE WITH IT.  We fostered many dogs since then, and decided we really wanted to start our own rescue, so we finally did it!

We are always looking for dedicated foster homes, so please fill out a foster home application if you are interested in helping out our mission and community.  We pay for everything...you just have to provide a loving home until we can find a furever home for the dog.  It's a great way to have a pet, without having the financial responsibility.
